What is Quarter A Week?

Quarter A Week is the missions project of the Rocky Mountain Girls Ministries Department.  Girls and sponsors, are encouraged to bring a quarter each meeting for a year.  This is to provide funds for our Missionaries to finance their housing budget. 

 

 Quarter A Week Provides the following:

Foreign  & Home Missions RMGM provides a portion of the designated household budget according to the number of children in the missionary family.

Christmas checks are sent to the children 18 years and under of Foreign and Home Missionaries.

 BenevolencesPeriodically, the district will assist with a project for one of the National Benevolences:  Highlands Child Placement Center or Hillcrest Children’s Home.

Missions ScholarshipsA Scholarship is   available to girls who have been recognized in RMGM by becoming an Honor Star, and Friends Graduates, 18 and under, who are going to participate in an approved missions trip, are eligible for the scholarship. The amount of the scholarship is up to $500 or one half the cost of the trip, not to exceed $500.  The cost will also be prorated according to the number of girls who apply in a given year and the cost of the missions trips. 

New Church PlantsRMGM Curriculum is provided to new churches within the first two years of existence.  The curriculum provided is: One Coordinator’s Guide, One Sponsor’s Guide per club, and Girls Ministries Leadership Training Guides for all sponsors.
