ADDIS KIDAN EVANGELICAL CHURCH   Teame and Amy Desta

Pastor Teame and Amy Deste started Addis Kidan in November 1999.  The goal was to reach the 10,000 Ethiopian immigrants in the Aurora area with the light of the gospel.

God has recently blessed them with a meeting place of their own by allowing them to purchase a building.  They need remodeling help!  If you would like to help out or would like to bring a missions team to Denver to help our Ethiopian brothers and sisters, please contact Jerry Cassell at 719.522.0195 or jcassell@rmdcdo.org.

DOWNTOWN ASSEMBLY OF GOD   Doyle and Karen Robinson

Doyle and Karen Robinson lead what has to be one of the most unique churches in America. Also known as Sox Place, Downtown Assembly targets young people between the ages of 15 and 30 who are running from God and the “system.” Many of the congregants of Downtown Assembly have suffered abuse and/or neglect at home leading them to conclude their best option was to run away. The streets of Denver become their home. Downtown A/G becomes a refuge from the rigors of life on the street. They are met with clean socks, a warm meal (and coat if necessary), but most importantly they are met with unconditional love. You can learn more about this unique church at www.soxplace.com or www.downtownag.org

NEW HOPE ASSEMBLY OF GOD   James Tweneboah

Pastor James Tweneboah leads this thriving congregation of people who have immigrated to the United States from Ghana, West Africa. Every Sunday is standing room only! The worship is exuberant and the preaching is filled with passion! In the next few years, this wonderful congregation expects to plant more churches to reach the growing population of African immigrants who are in the Aurora area.

You may contact Pastor James Tweneboah at 720 327-0317.
